This small shrub with blue, sometimes white, flowers that is common in the scrublands of the Mediterranean region and North Africa offers an essential oil rich in cineole (eucalyptol). The primary property of Rosemary ct cineole essential oil is to facilitate expectoration; ideally used for respiratory conditions such as sinusitis, bronchial congestion, and pulmonary congestion, it thins mucus and eases breathing. Recent studies suggest it can be used via olfaction and/or orally to help promote good cerebral circulation and optimize memory capacity.
